What exactly is Pro Life Communications?
A: We are a telecommunications company that was formed for
the sole purpose of funding pro-life activities. We believe in order to
make a significant difference in the pro-life movement in the United
States this cause must have more funds at its disposal. There are
numerous pro-life organizations doing great work but each one is in
desperate need of additional funding in order to increase their impact
on their community.
Why did you choose the telecommunications industry?
A: There are several reasons: 1) The telecommunications
industry is a very stable and lucrative industry. We found that we
could keep our operating costs low thereby increasing the amount we
could donate. 2) Every business and virtually every household use long
distance on a monthly basis, like any other utility. This allows
everyone to support life without spending any more than they do now. 3)
Most of us have grown tired of the constant harassment by the major
telecommunications companies to gain our business. We welcome the chance to
change our long distance provider one last time and have a legitimate
reason to never change again.
What is the difference between Pro Life Communications and Sienna Communications?
Interestingly enough, this has become the most often asked question of our customers. Please understand that we hold nothing against Sienna Communications. While we have similarities, there are still vast differences between Sienna Communications and Pro Life Communications. First of all, Sienna Communications is a "for-profit" company and Pro Life Communications is set up as a "non-for-profit" company. According to their web site, for a customer signed up for long-distance at 5.9 cents per minute, Sienna will donate one half of one percent of the billed usage to the designated organization. This same customer would donate 20-30% of the billed usage through Pro Life Communications. In this case, Pro Life Communications would donate at least 40 times the amount that Sienna Communications would. In short, Pro Life Communications is run more like a ministry rather than a business.

Why did the founders of Pro Life Communications
decide to form a company that would donate 100% of its net profits to
pro-life causes?
A: In June of 1998, co-founder Joseph Dalton received a calling to start Pro Life Communications. At this time, he received a significant amount of detailed information of how the ministry should be formed. The most prominent detail was that all of the company's profits would be donated. For months the Dalton's struggled with their calling, asking questions like "how could we obtain start up financing for a company that donates all of their profits?" About this time, an old friend of Jane Dalton, whom she hadn't talked to in years, came to her with a message she had received while at church. The message was "Somewhere between your vision and impossibility, I will provide the way. Go……… Travel on." With this conformation, the Dalton's left their successful careers behind and started Pro Life Communications. Since it's founding in August of 1998, Pro Life Communications has donated 100% of it's profits to the pro-life cause.
How can I be sure you'll donate 100% of Pro Life
Communications' net profits?
A: All donations are distributed in the form of a check
from our organization along with our financial statement for the same
time period.
What are your rates?
A: Our rates are 5.9 cents a minute any time, anywhere,
on all state to state calls! We bill in 6-second
increments rather than a full minute.
How can you give better rates than the major long
distance companies?
A: The reality is that the others are spending millions
of dollars on advertising in order to win customers. Pro Life
Communications does not spend millions of dollars in advertising. In
fact, we are dedicated to keeping our operating costs as low as
possible in order to donate as much as possible. You can be assured
that you will no longer be contributing to executives' bank accounts
but rather contributing to pro-life causes.
My long distance bill is rather low therefore my
contribution would be low. Would it really be worth it to switch to

A: DEFINITELY YES! Throughout the Bible God is known to
take a little and turn it into a lot. If each of us does only a little,
collectively we will be doing a lot. Your contribution along with 999
other people with the same small contribution will mean approximately a
$74,000 donation to pro-life activities.
How long will it take to switch to Pro Life
Communications' long distance program from my current carrier?
A: As little as 5-7 days or as long as 2-3 weeks. This
depends solely on your local telephone company and how quickly they
react.
Do I have to dial any special access code before I
make my calls?

Do I have to pay a monthly fee?
A: We will charge you no monthly fee to have our excellent rates. However, there is a new tax that will appear as a .99 cent monthly fee (Telecommunications Infrastructure Fee).

A: You will receive a separate bill from us via Power
Net Global for your long distance calls. We have chosen Power Net
Global to handle billing and customer service.
